![]() ![]() A total of 25 twenty year old drivers were interviewed. The interview dealt with subjects such as driving style, the life they lead, interests, style, morality and ideology, i.e. This study is a direct continuation of the above study in which I have interviewed persons in these different lifestyles. ![]() The results showed, for instance, that six different lifestyles among the twenty year old drivers had a higher or lower risk in traffic. ![]() The questionnaire contained questions about lifestyle, accidents and certain background data (sex, education, etc.). The 1991 study was carried out by means of a questionnaire sent to 3000 twenty-year-olds in the whole of Sweden. ![]() The object was to identify high risk groups on the basis of the lifestyles of young people. Berg (1991) carried out a study at VTI which had the aim of demonstrating relationships between the lifestyles of young drivers and their accident risks in traffic. It is well known that young drivers (18-24) run a considerably higher accident risk than other drivers. Result shows highly significant change in experimental group's attitude and behaviour in expected direction and hence this method is relevant for drivers' improvement. Next half assigned to control group without training and tested post training to asses the changes if any due to practice or any other factors in the same duration and compared. Tested with questionnaires, pre training and half of them assigned to special training, tested post training for their improvement. Two hundred bus drivers selected randomly from five stations across the state. Aggressive drivers tend to maintain negative dysfunctional beliefs with one or more biases in logical thinking that leads to increased risk taking. Cognitive Behaviour Modification based on the premises that negative thoughts, images or beliefs produce undesired or maladaptive behaviors and that clients can taught to modify these private events. This experimental research is to study effect of Cognitive Behaviour therapy for drivers' improvement. ![]()
